ORTHON was founded to bring practical, live-delivered clinical risk management training to the people who need it — CPD certified, and grounded in real digital health safety practice.
Co-Founder
Rudi Hennessy is a Senior Safety Engineer with ten years of national-level experience in digital clinical safety at NHS England, where she drives national guidance and standards review. She is a subject matter expert (SME) in the assurance of AI in healthcare.
She designed and authored the national Essentials and Intermediate digital clinical safety e-learning, co-authored the Digital Clinical Safety Practitioner course, co-authored the train-the-trainer programme for Digital Clinical Safety Practitioner training, and led the design of the national training curriculum — mapping learning outcomes and KSBs to modules to raise the quality and consistency of training across the profession.
Her assurance work covers some of the NHS's highest-profile digital products — giving her direct, current sight of how AI and digital risk actually plays out at national scale, not just in theory. She has delivered training to hundreds of organisations and trained thousands of Clinical Safety Officers.

Mike Anderson is a Safety Engineer with over 15 years of national-level experience in digital and clinical safety. He has set key national guidance and shaped the clinical risk management systems and assurance approaches now used across the health system.
His expertise extends into system-of-systems assurance — understanding how safety risk behaves not just within a single product, but across the interconnected national systems and services that depend on it. He has led assurance of some of the health system’s most significant national systems and services, giving him a rare vantage point on where digital risk actually concentrates at scale.
